Swedish Institute

The Swedish Institute (SI) is entrusted to inform the world about Sweden and to organise exchanges with other countries in the spheres of culture, education, research and public life in general. The SI also has special assignments in the field of international development cooperation. Much of its work is undertaken in cooperation with Swedish embassies and consulates-general around the world.

Riksföreringen Sverigekontakt

Sverigekontakt is an association with members all over the world, who have common interest in Sweden, Swedish language and Swedish culture.

Riksföreringen Sverigekontakt is a non-profit organization, which primary purpose is to help Swedes and Swedish offsprings abroad to maintain their connection with Sweden, Swedish language and culture.

Sverigekontakt's activity is first of all aimed at promoting Swedish language in the world. The organization has a lot of contacts with upper secondary schools and courses for grown-ups in different countries in the whole world. Once or twice a year, Sverigekontakt arranges in Sweden Swedish language courses at different levels.
